USA School Mindfulness Program
The program teaches young people the skills of focus and relaxation in order to improve social, emotional, and academic learning.
- Focus helps with paying attention and following directions.
- Relaxation helps with calming ourselves, managing stress, controlling our behavior, and resolving conflicts.
In this program, we apply and develop the skills of focus and relaxation by learning techniques perfectly suited for the school environment, such as:
- Listening: hearing sounds around us (especially teachers or peers talking).
- Achievement: setting and accomplishing positive and realistic goals.
