Currently, we not collect data on the proportion of patients with depression who were given mindfulness-based therapies. However, from July 2014 the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Data Standard will be expanded to include mindfulness as a delivered therapy type.
Data on the number of sessions of Mindfulness delivered by IAPT services will be held by the NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre.
